Prana
Natalie has a sixth sense for knowing what our class needs to practice on a particular morning so that we leave feeling stronger, calmer, more stretched and more balanced. -- Jen P. Concord, MA, (student in private yoga class)

Natalie Engler's yoga classes blend asana (postures), breathing exercises, and meditation to increase the flow of prana, or life force energy. Natalie invites students, through slow, mindful, breath-linked poses, to explore and celebrate the body on the road to self-discovery.
A typical class begins with meditation and breathing exercises, followed by a series of flowing postures and a guided Savasana or Restorative pose. There is often a theme or therapeutic focus.
Natalie also offers individual Restorative yoga sessions at the Domar Center for Mind/Body Health (see below), Restorative Yoga workshops, and private yoga by appointment. Please contact her for details.
Natalie's approach synthesizes the work of the many influential yoga teachers she has been blessed to study with. She completed her 200-hour training with Bo Forbes, PsychD, creator of Integrative Yoga Therapeutics™, which combines the classical elements of yoga with the latest advances in mind-body medicine to address issues such as anxiety, insomnia, depression, chronic pain disorders, and fertility. Natalie's current teacher is Arthur Kilmurray, one of the leading Iyengar yoga instructors in the United States.
